The Tera 2D Wireless Barcode Scanner is designed for use with the Certifix Live Scan system and supports scanning 2D barcodes from government-issued IDs.
It allows operators to scan:

New California driver’s licenses and IDs

Older California IDs with 2D barcodes

Most out-of-state IDs with a 2D barcode (PDF417)
When used with CScan version 41 or later, applicant information is automatically populated into the Live Scan system, reducing manual entry and improving accuracy.
The scanner is plug-and-play, requires no additional software, and can be used alongside an existing MagTek reader.
This same scanner will also support future QR code scanning for Certifix accounts and online enrollment transactions.
